*In 1953 graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages with a specialization in "English".
*In 1956 graduated from postgraduate studies of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages.
==Work Activity==
*In 1954-1960 -a lecturer of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages.
*In 1960-1972 worked at the Institute of the Russian Language at the [[Academy of Sciences of the USSR]], where he was expelled for political reasons (the excuse was "did not pass the reattestation").
*In 1972-1985 worked as the senior researcher at the "Informelektro" pan-RI, the head of the department.
*In 1985-1989-the senior researcher at the Institute of Information Transfer Problems of the [[RAS]].
*In 1989-1994-the head of the laboratory of computer linguistics of TMSI.
*Since 1990-the head of the Theoretical Semantics Department of the Institute of the Russian Language in the RAS.
