Was born on November 14(27), 1902 in [[Dilijan]], [[Armenia]].

*In 1929 graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Leningrad Polytechnic Institute.
==Work Activity==
*In 1928-1936 was an engineer of the construction of Chernorechchensk Chemical Combine and other workshops.
*In 1936-1944 was the head of Vorkutin and Yakutsk iceological stations.
*In 1945-1951 was the deputy chief and senior researcher of the iceological statiom of Igarka (a town in Turukhansky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia).
*In 1951-1958 was the head of various expeditions of the laboratory of hydroproject.
*In 1958-1980 was the senior researcher of the department of iceology of Moscow State University.

*In 1945 became a candidate of geological-mining sciences.
*In 1952 became a doctor of geological-mining sciences.
