=Biography=
Was born on November 10, 1929 in Simferopol, Ukraine.

==Education==
*In 1944-1950 studied at the [[Yerevan State College of Fine Arts]] after [[Panos Terlemezyan]].
*In 1956 graduated from the [[Yerevan State University of Fine Arts and Theatre]].

==Achievements==
*Since 1960 had been a member of the [[Artists' Union of the USSR]].
*In 1967 was awarded the prize of the ministry of culture of Armenia for the painting "Hirosima".
*In 1971 was awarded the prize "The Best Painting of the Year" for the painting "Shot".
*In 1990 was marked as a national artist of [[Armenia]].
*In 2001 was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Armenia.

*In 1974- in the [[Artists' Union of Armenia]], Yerevan.
*In 1982- in the [[Museum of Russian Art after professor Aram Abrahamyan]], Yerevan (sculpture, graphs).
*In 1997- in the [[National Gallery of Armenia]] and the [[Artists' Union of Armenia]] simultaneously.
*In 2000- in the Artists' Union of Armenia, Yerevan (graphs).
*In 2009- in the Artists' Union of Armenia and the Museum of Modern Art, Yerevan, in honour to his 80th anniversary.

==Other==
*Is the brother of [[Adalyan Raffi]] and [[Adalyan Norayr]].
*In 1938 moved to Yerevan with his family.
*Confident modifications of the real and imaginary, dramatism and dynamic tensions, modifications of inner properties of nature and people are typical to Adalyan's art.
*Some of his works are presented in the National Gallery of Armenia, the Museum of Modern Art, other museums of Armenia, as well as in personal collections of Armenia and foreign countries.
