*In 1920 was celebrated the 50th anniversary of Azir's creative life in Tiflis. Many writers, poets and famous cultural figures from Armenia and Georgia were present at the reception. Azir said during his speech. "Who am I, the shadow of the past and the ghost of the future."
*Azir wrote poems, songs and stories in Armenian and Georgian. His first poems were published in 1868. CDs of his songs were also released.
*He also wrote plays such as "The troubadour", "The habit" , "The pickpocket".
*He was the author of famous "Suliko" song (Lyrics by A. Tsereteli).
*1892-1914 Azir's 10 collection of works (Armenian and Georgian) were published in Moscow and Tiflis. They are stored in the Russian National Library.
