Was born on November 20, 1949 in Kirovabad, Azerbaijan. His father is Ayvazyan Petros and brother Gagik Ayvazyan.

Education

In 1970-1971 he worked at Yerevan Scientific Research of Traumatological and Orthopedical Institute.
From 1973 he worked at Yerevan railway hospital as a traumatologist in traumatology department.
In 1978 he worked at Yerevan Scientific Research of Traumatological and Orthopedical Institute, in the acute sharp department as a traumatologist.
In 1989-1990 he became the head of traumatological and orthopedical chair in Scientific Research Institute.
From 1990 he became a SRI department director of Traumatology and Orthopedy.
From 1992 he became the head of traumatology and orthopedy chair of Natioonal Medical Institute.

In 1987 he became a doctor of Medical Sciences.
In 1988 he became chief traumatologist-orthoped of Ministry of Health in RA.
In 1989 he recieved a "Personal Courage" award.
In 1990 he became a president of RA traumatological and orthopedical fellowship.
In 1995 he became a member of Surgical International Fellowship of Orthopedy and Traumatology.
In 2001 he recieved a RA "Courage" medal.
In 2002 he became a professor of Medical Sciences.
In 2002 he became a RA Academian of Medical Sciences.

His works are about ostomielite surgery, inner denturing of big joints andsurgery of vertebra, regenerative attributes of bone tissue, treatment of lack of bones, processing problems of sustainable functional bonejoining. He invested inner prosthesis method of joints in RA.
