Biography

Was born on December 31, 1922 in Kirovabad (now, Ganja), Azerbaijan.

Education

• In 1950 he graduated from Armenian Institute of Agriculture.

Work activity

• In 1963-1994 he was the head of the department of viticulture.
• In 1973 (at the same time) he was the head of AIA department of viticulture.

Achievements

• In 1958 he was an honoured viticulturist of Grim region.
• In 1960 he became a doctor of Biological Sciences.
• In 1961 he became a professor of Biological Sciences.
• In 1980 he became an honored figure of ASSR Sciences.
• In 1989 he became an honoured inventor.
• In 1994 he became a member of AASA.
• In 1994 he became a professor of Armenian Academy of Sciences.
• In 1998 he became a member of Viticulture and Winery international academy.

Awards

• In 1957, 1958, 1959 he recieved Bronze Medal.
• In 1957 he recieved 2 big Silver Medals.
• In 1958 he recieved a small Golden Medal.
• In 1961 he recieved a big Golden Medal of ASSR Exhibition of National Economic Achievements.
• In 2002 he recieved The Medal of Anania Shirakatsy.
