Was born on January 31, 1903 in Ghushchi (now [[Kechut]]), [[Yerevan.Died on April 31, 1983 in Yerevan, Armenia]].

*In 1933 graduated from the Law Faculty of [[YSU]].

*1944-1949 head of the Department of Armenian history, [[YSU]].*1968-1976 head of the Department of [[Archaeology ]] and [[Ethnography]], [[YSU]].
*Editor of "Etchmiadzin" magazine.
*In 1943 was Doctor of Historical Sciences.
*In 1944 was a Professor.
*In 1961 was an honored worker of [[ASSR ]] science.*Received a diploma of the Supreme Soviet of [[ASSR]].
==Other==
*The studies are devoted to the Armenian scripts, paelography, the history of the [[Armenian national liberation movement ]] and the history of Armenian colonies.*Compiled and published the bibliographies of [[Anania Shirakatsi]], [[Hovhannes Imastaser ]] and [[Zenob Glak]].*Was an active public figure as well.In 1944, by a special state order, was on a business trip to [[Iran]], [[Iraq]], [[Lebanon]], [[Palestine]], [[Egypt ]] for creating the "Sassuntsi-Davit" tank regiment.1945-1946 actively participated in the repatriation organization of the [[Middle East]].*Presented his scientific reports in international and union conferences ([[Prague]], [[Moscow]], [[Tbilisi]], [[Baku]], etc.) .
