Was born on September 7, 1925 in Abastumani, Akhaltskha, Georgia.

*In 1942 - became a student at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
*Studied at Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Philology.
*Studied at [[Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts and Theater]].
*From 1945 to 1948 studied at [[Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture]].

*Worked as an artist-animator, draftsman, constructor and journalist in various foundations.
*From 1965 to 1973 was the drector of "Grakan Tert"("Literary Newspaper") prose.
*From 1973 to 1981 was the editor-in-chief of "Ekran"("Screen") magazine.
*Worked as a director at [[Hayfilm Studio]].
*At the beginning of the 1990s, he was the editor of "Hayutyun"("Armeniancy") weekly newspaper.
*Wrote the screenplay of "Hayrik"("Father") feature film.

*In 1975 - Laureate of ASSR State Prize (for the screenplay of the "Triangle" film).
*In 1982 - Honored Artist of [[Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic]].
*In 1983 - Laureate of Derenik Demirchyan Prize (for the book "Triangle").
*From 1963 - Member of [[Writers Union of Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic]].
