Was born on November 5, 1932 in Pokrovka (Now Urasar), Republic of Armenia.

*In 1960 graduated from Yerevan State University.

*1972-1980 worked at Yerevan State University as a lecturer.
*1980-1995 lecturer at the Yerevan State Pedagogical University of Russian and Foreign Languages named after Valery Brusov.
*1995-2000 worked as the head of the Chair of Russian Literature at the Yerevan State Pedagogical University of Russian and Foreign Languages after Valery Brusov.
*In 1991 established the Yerevan Humanitarian Institute.
