*Was born on May 12, 1926 in Karbi, Armenia.

*In 1944 finished [[Karbi Secondary School]].
*In 1956 graduated from the Faculty of Geological Sciences of [[Yerevan State Univeristy]].
*Took his postgraduate courses in the faculty Useful Minerals faculty.
==Work activity==
*From 1944 worked as a teacher in Ohanavan village school.
*From 1944 to 1950 served in [[Soviet Army]].
*From 1986 was the Mineral Resources and Metallurgy Laboratory Head of the Armenian [[Institute of Geological Sciences]].
==Achievements==
*In 1974թ - Doctor of Geological Sciences.
*In 1985թ - honored geologist of [[ASSR]].
*In 1976թ - State Prize of the [[USSR]].
*In 1985թ - Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

*His candidates dissertation, which he defended in Moscow, 1962, was dedicated to the geology, geochemistry and Genealogy issues of Sotq (Zod) gold mine.
