Was born on April 27, 1958 in Yerevan, Armenia.

*In 1962-1969 studied at tne [[Sayat-Nova Music School]].
*In 1973-1978 studied at the [[Yerevan State Conservatory]].
*In 1981 finished his postgraduate studies at the Yerevan State Conservatory.

*In 1978 got engaged in pedagogy.
*In 1978 opened a musical class at the school of the village [[Kanakeravan]], [[Nairi]].
*In 1986-1988 taught at the music school after [[Hekimyan Alexander]].
*In 1995-2003 taught at the Sayat-Nova Music School.
*Since 1987 has taught instrumentation and instrumentology at the Yerevan State Conservatory.

*In 1993 was awarded the 2nd prize of the Cello-Concerto Competition.
*In 1993-1994 was awarded the 1st prize of the Republican Competition of Pop Music.
*Was awarded the prize of the Republican Competition "The Military Song", organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
*In 2004 became a professor at the Yerevan State conservatory.
*In 2010 became an honoured artist of the Republic of Armenia.
