*Studied at the [[Murat-Rafaelyan College]] in Venice.

*Since 1858 had worked at the Constantinopol telegraph.

*In his works of love and nature, contrasts the beauties of the Nature with the human misery.
*In 1870-1880s was one of the leaders in the struggle for realism.
