Was born on February 17, 1879 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
==Education==
*Studied at the universities of Munich, Zurich and Berlin.
*Attended some lectures at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
==Work Activity==
*In 1907-1908 patended binary television.
*In 1907 first in the world attempted to transmit color images with wires at 600 km from Berlin.
*In 1913 nominated for the "Intermediate Clice" system of photo terlegramming.
*In 1920 invented the "Distant Imaging Device".
*In 1925 licensed a tricolor TV project- "A Non-Discriminatory Device to See" which color reproduction disk is known as the "A Disk"
*In 1925 created and displayed the "Trivia" tricolor device at the [[Yerevan]] laboratory.
*In 1930 carried out tghe broadcast of the first photo telegram from Moscow to Leningrad.

*After studying had been engaged in the problems of reporting images at distance and founded close relations with scientific and higher educational institutions and prominent scientists from a number of European countries.
*Created a laboratory on his own in Germany and made a number of inventions (first substantiated the possibility of transmitting and reproducing images through electricity, realized the first attempt of transmitting color images with wires at 600 km).
*At the end of 1913 moved to Russia and settled in Petrograd (Leningrad) until 1932.
*His principle of tricolor TV was first used in London in 1928.
*In 1945-1951 the American "Columbia" radistation performed an experimental demonstration, and in 1951-1953 Adamyan's system was accepted as a stable system and began to be used in transmitting color images.
*Is the brother of the [[Adamyan sisters]] and [[Adamyan Arshak]].
*Is buried in the [[Komitas Pantheon]], Yerevan.
