Was born on September 10, 1883 in Artvin, [[Western Armenia]].

*In 1907 after graduating from the Mekhitarist Monastery,was ordained a priest and served in the Mayravank of Mekhitarists.
**1916-1920 worked at the seminary as a director.
**1909-1963 worked as the head of matenadaran of the Mkhitaryan Unity and as an editor of "Handes Amsorya" (with interruptions).
*1923-1929 worked at the house of manuscripts in [[Etchmiadzin]].
