*Was the head of computer programming and computer engineering departments in the Yerevan branch of nuclear power plants.
*From February 1990 he planned and organized the defense of several regions of [[Armenia]] and the [[Republic of Artsakh]].
*In June 1991 he co-founded and commanded the liberation army, alongside [[Hovsepyan Hovsep]].
*From the end of 1990 he participated in the self-defense and liberation wars of the [[Getashen]], [[Shahumyan]] and [[Martakert]] regions.
