=Biography=
Was born on August 4, 1944 in Vaghoudi village in the Sisian region.
==Education==
*At first he studied in Vaghoudi village school and then continued his studies in Sisian Secondary Number 1 school, which he finished in 1960.
*1960-1964 entered and graduated from Kajaran Civil Engineering College.
*In 1970 finished a two-year course in Leningrad Polytechnic Institute
*In 1994 finished the military high officer training courses.
==Work activity==
*1961-1964 worked in the construction department Number 1 of the Kajaran Construction factory as a labourer.
*1964-1967 served in the Soviet Armed Forces.
*1976-1978 was a head of division in the construction department of "Hayhydroshin" Tatev hydro power station.
*1978-1984 was the head of the special division of the Arpa-Sevan construction department.
*1984-1992 was a head of the self-financing system of the Gyughshin trust Number 6
*1990-1993 served as a commander of the self-defense battalion.
*1993-1994 headed the Zangezour regional police division.
*1994-2003 was a commander of a motorized infantry regiment.
*In May 2003 he retired and was elected as a debuty of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

*In 2003-colonel of the Armenian Army.
*In 1994 was awarded the Order of "Battle Cross" 2nd degree.
*In 1998 was awarded "Andranik Ozanyan" Medal.
*In 1999 received “Marshal Baghramyan” Medal.
==Other==
*1989–1994 participated in the self-defensive battles of Sisian region, and also took part in the liberation battles of Shushi, Lachin, Kubatlu, Jabrail, Fizuli and Kelbajar.
*Azoyan was married and had two children.
