Biography

Was born on March 25, 1931 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Education

  • In 1949 finished Yerevan High School № 29 named after Margaryan Andranik.
  • In 1954 graduated from the chemical faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
  • In 1959 postgraduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Work activity

  • From 1959 worked in the Institute of Chemical Physics of the Academy of Sciences, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics .
  • From 1988 was the head of heterogeneous and chain reactions' laboratory in The Institute of Structural Macrokinetics (Moscow).

Achievements

  • In 1978 became a Doctor of Chemical Sciences.
  • In 1985 became a Professor of Chemical Sciences.
  • In 2000 became a member of The Russian Academy of Sciences.

Other

  • Invented the method of obtaining high quality membranes in low temperature.The method allows to obtain membranes on unstable substances in high temperature as well.
  • Invented combustion, explosion and detonation control methods.The essence of the methods was to quicken the disruption of reactionary chains due to small blends.
