Was born on March 1, 1927 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.

Education

  • In 1947 graduated from the Academy of Western Music (AWM).
  • 1949-1950 graduated from the University of Southern California.
  • 1944-1957 got lessons from Aisner Emis.

Work activity

  • 1940-1949 sang in the Armenian Church of San Francisco.
  • 1945-1946 also sang in the San Francisco Opera Choir.
  • Since 1950 worked at New York's Metropolitan as an opera singer.
  • In 1965 sang Aida's role-song in the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
