Biography
Was born on October 24, 1933 in Goris, Armenia. He is the brother of Akunts Vardan.
Education
- In 1956 graduated from Yerevan Medical Institute.
Work activity
- 1973-1989 was the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Yerevan Medical Institute.
- 1989-1998 worked as Director of the Research Center of Maternal and Child Health.
Achievements
- In 1973 became a Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- In 1974 received the degree of professor.
Other
- Developed ways of conservative and surgical treatment in case of infertility in women, engaged in fetal infection, diagnosis of intrauterine pathology (fetopatia), the study of high-risk pregnancy and delivery problems.
