Biography
Was born on August 18, 1916 in Grozny, Russia.
Education
- In 1937 graduated from Balashov No.3 pilot school.
- In 1957 finished the Monino ( Since 1968 it's named after Yuri Gagarin) Air Force Academy courses.
Work activity
- During the Patriotic War (1941-1945), he served in the long-range bombing aviation. He performed 234 combat missions, with a special assignment-the 44 to Yugoslavia.
- Since 1942 October 1, he has been the commander of the aircrafts.
- Since 1943 23rd of July , he was the commander of 22th Air Force.
Achievements
- In 1944 - Hero of the Soviet Union.
- In 1944 - the 1st Degree Order of the Patriotic War.
- In 1943 - the 1st Degree Order "Partisan of the Patriotic War".
- In 1943 - The Order "For Defense of Leningrad".
- In1948 - First degree Yugoslavian Order "Partizan star".
Other
- In 1939 went to army.
- Hero's title was awarded to him for high skill and courage in combat operations.
