Biography
Was born on June,17,1871 in Meghri,Armenia.
Education
- In 1901 he graduated from the faculty of Chemistry of Riga Polythecnical Institute.
Other
- During his student years he became a friend with S. Shahumyan,was envolved in "Teoretik" Marxist group.
- In Adelyan's stories and tales the situation of village social life of 70-90s of 19th century is represented.
- Under the influance of national ideas he was lost on village savior and elucidative projects,but as a realist he came to the conclusion that it is impossible to change village.
- He is one of the organizers of first rural consumer cooperative in Armenia.
- One of Meghri's schools is named after him.
