Biography
Was born on June 1,in 1941 in Baralet village,Georgia(in Akhalkalaki).
Education
- In 1966 graduated from Yerevan State University(YSU).
Work activity
- Since 1967 has been a collaborator in National Polytechnic University of Armenia(NPUA).
- In 2003-2004-head of department of commen physics.
Achievements
- In 1992-Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
- In 1994-proffesor.
- In 1994-Academician of New York Academy of Sciences.
- In 1999-The title of "Man of the Year" in US Biographical Institute.
- Honorary Gold Medal of the second century.
- Certificate of Republic of Armenia the Ministry of Education and Science(on the occasion of NPUA's 70th anniversary).
- Member of Educational Methodological Council of NPUA.
- Member of 031 proffesional council by NPUA.
Other
- His work refers to researches of semiconductor crystals of imperfections of x-ray and x-rayinterferometery.Based on the crystal of semiconductor silicon he made a multiple interferometer by which it is possible to recieve the diagonal x-ray diffraction images of defects in crystal.
- More than 100 scientific articles of Arsen Aboyan were printed in foreign scientific periodicals,recieved high appreciation of specialists.He also received 3 auther certificates.
- Under Arsen Aboyan's leadership 4 PhD and 1 doctoral dissertation were defended.He is the auther of a large number of scientific-methodical publications and also 6 educational manuals.
