Biography
Was born on September 25, 1881 in Gharakhilisa, Armenia.
Education
- 1903-1905 studied medicine at the University of Berlin.
Work activity
- 1915-1917 was a collaborator in "Payqar" newspaper.
- Was the first CTUA president.
- In 1921 was the secretary of the Communist Party.
- 1924-1928 was the ASSR Deputy Chairman of the Central Executive Committee.
- In 1930 was the Deputy President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
- 1931-1934 was the Director of Transcaucasian branch.
Achievements
- In 1928 became a professor.
- In 1956, ASSR Social Sciences correspondent.
- In 1961, ASSR honored scientist.
Other
- In 1905 became a member of Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party.
- 1908-1911 acted in Mensheviks' organization, Baku.
- In 1913 was imprisoned for revolutionary activities.
- In 1920 became a Communist Party member.
- Works are related to the questions of social construction, agricultural cooperation and the theory of wages.
