Was born on February 26, 1902 in Igdir, Western Armenia.

Achievements

  • In 1963, Honored Artist of ASSR.

Other

  • Sculptured 16 episodes from the epic "David of Sasun" on the shutters of cupboard.
  • Sculptured wooden decorative vases, blending jugs, and goblets as well.
  • The works are kept in The Museum Of Modern Art(Yerevan) and other museums.
  • Participated in republican, union and international exhibitions.
  • Some of his works are kept in The Museum of Folk-Art and others in a number of USSR museums.
