Was born on August 25, 1913 in Tiflis, Georgia.
Education
- In 1935 graduated from Leningrad Conservatory.
Work activity
- From 1938 lecturer at Yerevan State Conservatory.
- 1944-1968 head of Chair at Yerevan State Conservatory (with interruptions).
Achievements
- In 1964 became a Candidate of Historical Sciences.
