Was born on July 2, 1868 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Education
- In 1885 he graduated from Nersisyan School in Tbilisi.
- From 1886 to 1889 studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory.
- In 1894 graduated from the Milan Conservatory.
Work activity
- In 1886 sang in St. Petersburg Armenian Church.
- In 1894 has played Valentine's role in Turin, Genoa, and Milan.
- In 1895 acted in Moscow with the Italian opera theater group.
- From 1896 to 1899, soloist of Moscow Theater.
- From 1899 to 1916 he served in Perm, Irkutsk, Rostov-on-Don, Odessa, Nizhni Novgorod, Kazan, etc.
- From 1913 taught singing in St. Petersburg.
- In 1921 opened 5 folk song schools in Tbilissi.
- In 1932 acted in the "Shakir" film.
