Biography
Was born on July 21, 1958 in the city of Yerevan, Soviet Armenia.
Education
- In 1981 graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Work activity
- 1985-1991 worked at Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
- 1991-1993 worked at University of Tokyo.
- 1993-1994 worked at International Advanced Research Institute of Triest.
- From 1994 worked at University of Minnesota Medical School, USA.
- From 1999 Assistant professor at the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota.
Achievements
- In 1985 PhD in Physical-Mathematical Sciences.
- In 1985 Doctor of Philosophical Sciences.
- From 1996 member of New York Academy of Sciences.
- From 1996 member of the International Society of Neurologists in America
- From 2002 member of the Armenian Assembly of America.
