Biography
Was born on March 20, 1934 in Yerevan, Armenia.
Education
- In 1957 graduated from Yerevan Polytechinc Institute.
Work activity
- In 1958 worked at Yerevan's Project Institute as an assistant.
- 1971-1979 worked at the same Institute as a main engineer.
- 1980-1988 worked at the same Institute as main architect.
- In 1991 was the head of The Architectural Studio.
- 1988-1991 was the President of Architecture and Urban Planning Committee ,Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic .
Achievements
- In 1981 became The Honored Architect of Armenian Republic.
- In 1979 was The Laureate of the Satate Prize of Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic.
Works
- Complex of Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University (1970).
- Transport junction of Mashtots Avenue (1975).
- "Dvin" hotel (1978)(The Satate Prize of Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic,1979).
- Alley of the Heroes and The tomb of Unknown Soldier in "Victory" park (1985).
- Reconstruction and development of square railway station (the main architect with the group of authors).
- "Northern Ray" residential district (2001).
- The complex of Military Academy (1996-2004).
- Buildings in Etchmiadzin highway (1962), in Dilijan (1968), in Tsaghkadzor (1975-78,1986), in Gyumri (1991)>
- One of the authors of Northern Avenue .
