Was born on July 24,1926 in Aleppo, Syria.
Education
- In 1938 graduated from the Mekhitarist college.
- In 1945 graduated from the French college of Aleppo.
- In 1947 graduated from the school-monastery of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in Antelias.
- In 1951 graduated from the Brussels State University.
Work Activity
- In 1975-1986 was the representative of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in the World Council of Churches.
- In 1995 established the faculty of Theology of the Yerevan State University.
- In 1951-1960 was a diplomat in the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia
