Biography
Was born in 1818, Constantinople, Turkey.
Education
- Studied at Nersesian School in Constantinople.
- In Florence took some merchants training courses.
Work activity
- In 1846, an editor for "Armenia" weekly newspaper in Constantinople.
- In September 1860 was one of the founders of Armenian Charity Company.
- In 1861, general assembly secretary of Armenian Charity Company.
- Participated in the development of Western Armenian National Constitution.
- From 1876 to 1881 was deputy governor of Van.
Achievements
- In 1849, member of Constantinople Agricultural Company.
Other
- Brother of Aghaton Grigor.
- Compiled Turkish economic development projects and organized joint-stock companies.
- In 1860 got acquainted with Michael Nalbandyan and had correspondence with him.
- Did translations from French.
