Was born on December 20, 1922 in Tiflis, Georgia.
Education
- In 1953 graduated from Russian State Institute of Performing Arts.
Work activity
- Since 1953 taught at the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts.
- 1975-1985-head of Department.
- 1961-1966 worked at the Leningrad Dramatic Theater as a director.
- Since 1966 the chief director of the theater named after Komissarzhevskaya.
