Was born on October 5(12), 1904 in Ghezlar, Dagestan.
Education
- In 1930 graduated from Don State Agrarian University.
Work activity
- From 1961, winemaking department head in the All-Union Institute of Food Industry.
Achievements
- In 1937, doctor of agricultural sciences.
- In 1938, professor.
- In 1961, Lenin award.
- In 1964, USSR honored science and technology figure.
Other
- Aghabalyants proposed a scientific classification of wines, studied the mechanisms of degeneration, fatigue, wine and brandy alcohol distillation.
- Developed and introduced new methods for the automated process flows, champagne wines production, the quality of the wine and the chemical composition.
- He is buried in Vagankov Cemetery in Moscow.
