Biography

Was born on 10th of June 1932 in the village of Karmir Gyux in Nogoorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast in Askeran region.

Education

  • In 1961 graduated from the Samarkand State University in Uzbekistan.

Work activity

  • In 1961-1965 worked at the Physical-Technical Institute of Tashkent.
  • Worked at Yerevan Physics Institute since 1965.

Achievements

  • In 1966 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical sciences.
  • Member of The New York Academy of Sciences since 1999.
