Biography
Was born on August 24 1943 in the village of Sulda in Akhalkalaki region,Georgia.
Education
- In 1960 finished the secondary school in the village of Sulda.
- In 1967 graduated from the Yerevan State Medical Collage.
- In 1971-73 studied in the clinical residency of all-Union research institute of obstetrics and gynecology.
Work activity
- In 1967-1973 worked as a doctor,accoucheur-gynecologist,head of the polyclinic in the borough of Vedi.
- In 1973-1975 accoucheur-gynecologist in the all-Union research institute of obstetrics and gynecology.
- In 1975-1988 head of the surgical gynecology compartment in the republican clinical hospital.
- In 1990-1992 head of the N2 chamber of obstetrics and gynecology in the Yerevan State Medical Collage.
- Since 1993 founding director of scientific centre of perinatology, obstetrics and gynecology.
- In 1995-1998 chief accoucheur-gynecologist of the Republic of Armenia.
- In 1996 executive director of the wemens' reproductive health national program of the Republic of Armenia.
- In 1998 president of the companionship of accoucheur-gynecologists and neonatologists.
- Since 2002 adviser of the minister of health care as birth-help assistant.
