Biography

Was born on the 18th of December 1939 in the village of Kartsakhi in Akhalkalak District in Georgia.

Education

  • In 1962 graduated from the Cherepovets military institute of Russian Federation.
  • In 1976 graduated from the military academy of connecton of the USSR Ministry of Defence.
  • In 1985 finished the courses in the academy of the Supreme headquarers.

Work activity

  • In 1992 from February to June worked as first assistant of the head of the Supreme headquarters of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia.
  • In 1992-1994 and 1995-2000 assistant of the minister of Defence.
  • In 1994-1995 advocate of the state minister of the Republic of Armenia.
  • In 2000-2002 first assistent of the chief military inspector of the Republic of Armenia.
  • Was demobilized in 2002.

Achievements

  • In 1997 Lieutenant-General of the Republic of Armenia.
