- In 1946 Aznavour had a concert tour with "Compagnons de la Chanson" band sponsored by Èdith Piaf. He wrote songs for È. Piaf and others.
- In 1946 and 1996 he had concerts in Yerevan as well.
- In 1959 he deserved public recognition after performing at "Olympia" concert hall.
- He is authour of more than thousands of songs.
- Since 1988 he has been to Armenia more than 10 times.
- He established "Aznavour for Armenia" foundation in Paris. He visited the disaster zone.
- In 1993 the armenian assossiation of "Aznavour for Armenia" was opened in Yerevan.
- There are squares after Aznavour in Yerevan and Gyumri. In 2000 S. Petrosian sculptured his sculpture which is also placed in Yerevan.
- In 2004 the wax figure of Aznavour was placed at Madame Tussauds museum.
