=Biography=
Was born on December 20, 1919 in [[Alexandrapol]] (now [[Gyumri]]), [[Armenia]].

*In 1939 finished the [[Yerevan College of Fine Arts]].
*In 1940 entered the Moscow Institute of Decorative and Applied Art.
*In 1952 graduated from the [[Yerevan State Art and Theater Institute]].

==Work Activity==
*In 1939-1941 and 1944-1966 taught at Gyumri pedagogical school.
*In 1947-1966 was the director of the urban museum of [[Leninakan]].

*Since 1940 participated in republican and later all-union and international exhibitions (in Armenia, Russia, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Argentina, Mongolia).
*Taught at the Sergey Merkurov Painting School (Leninakan).
*In 1978 a posthumous exhibition was organized (the Union of Artists of Armenia, Yerevan).
*The works are exhibited in the Modern Art Museum (Yerevan), the National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan), the [[Ministry of Culture]] of the [[Republic of Armenia]] (Yerevan) and the cultural houses of different regions of Armenia.
