- Was suspected of being involved in the Tondrakian movement, on the recommendation of the Catholicos Anania Mokatsi wrote "The Writing of Confession" (Arm. «Գիր խոստովանութեան») and "The Objection against the Tondrakians" (Arm. «Հակաճառութիւն ընդդէմ թոնդրակեցւոց»).
- His disciple Ukhtanes also mentioned the work "Faithfulness"(973) where Anania Narekatsi scourged the dualists.
- His writings are a significant source for studying the ideology of the Tondrakians.
