Biography

Was born on November 26, 1982 in Kapan, Syunik region, Republic of Armenia.

  • 2004-2006 - M.A. of YSU Faculty of History.
  • 2000-2004 - B.A. of YSU Faculty of History.
  • 1989-2000 - secondary school.

Work activity

  • 2004-2010 -worked as a teacher of history at the secondary school N 8 after A. Pushkin.
  • From 2009 – Head of the department of Virtual Armenology and Information of YSU Institute for Armenian Studies.
  • From 2010 – Assistant in the Chair of History of Armenia (YSU Faculty of History).
  • From 30 March up to 10 July - Academic secretary of IAS.
  • From 11 July, 2012 – Deputy Director of YSU Institute for Armenian Studies.
  • From 2016 - head of "Diaspora" Summer School.
  • From 15 September, 2017 runs his programme "Hamaspyurk" on Public Radio of Armenia.

  • He is the author of six academic articles and a University study program.
  • The field of research includes the investigation of relations between Armenian Revolutionary Federation and Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (Bolsheviks) and the Musavat Party in Armenia, generally in South Caucasus and Russia in the 20th century, as well as the history of political development and ethnic relations in Baku in 1917-1918. The field of research includes the issues connected with armenological virtual propaganda too.
  • He is fluent in Armenian, Russian and English.
