Biography
Was born on September 19, 1938 in Batumi, Georgia. The father of Aznauryan Vardan.
Education
- In 1964 graduated from Yerevan Medical Institute named after Mehrabyan.
Work activity
- 1975-1977- Vice rector of Yerevan Medical Institute named after Mehrabyan.
- 1977-1989 and since 1990- Head of the Department of Histology.
- 1989-1990- Minister of Health of the ASSR (Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic).
- One of the initiators of the AMS (Academy of Medical Sciences) and Presidium member.
- The president of the RA ( Republic of Armenia) scientific company of histologists.
Achievements
- In 1975- Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- In 1977- Professor of Medical Sciences.
- In 1997- Academician of AMS (Academy of Medical Sciences).
Other
- His works refer to the diseases of the immune movements of the connective tissue,to the development of immune pathology, to the research of the organs of human immune system, to the functional changes in vital organs and immune systems under the conditions of the prolonged hypertension.
- In 1988 after the earthquake, his works referred to development of the prolonged pressure syndrome (experimental crash-syndrome) pathogenicity basis and the possible ways of its elimination.
