Biography

Was born on May 14, 1964 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Education

• In 1986 graduated from historical-english section of Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov.

Work activity

• From 1992 to 1994 - assistant of RA president, advisor of the RA Foreign Secretary, delegation head of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (Vienna).
• In 1992 - Senior Researcher of Matenadaran.
• In 1996 - Lecturer at American University of Armenia.
• From 1995 to 2001 - has conducted strategic studies in the US University of Siracusa, Stanford and Greece.

Achievements

• In 1992 - Candidate of Historical Sciences.
• 2004 - Doctor of Political Sciences.

Other

• Participated in the negotiations of the OSCE Minsk Group.
• Works refer to the national security and military history of Armenia, the Armenian national liberation movements, studies about Armenia in the United States and other issues.
