Biography

Was born in 1904 in the village of Shulaveri(now Shaumani), Georgia.

Education

  • In 1940 graduated from Moscow Drama Studio.

Work Activity

  • In 1922 participated in the organization of Kaghlusvar mobile theatre of the Armenian SSR.
  • Since 1923 was an actor of Tiflis P. Adamyan Armenian Drama Theatre.
  • In 1931 participated in the organization of Kirovakan Drama Theatre.
  • In 1931-1940-the theatre's ruler.
  • In 1940-1961-the ruler of Artashat, Kamo and other regional theatres.
  • Since 1961-the director of Leninakan Drama Theatre.

  • "Namus"(«Նամուս») by Shirvanzade,
  • "Destroyed Hearth"(«Քանդած օջախ») by Sundukyan.
