Was born on August 11, 1947 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

• In 1974 graduated from Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.

Work activity

• 1965-1966 played in FC "Shirak".
• 1966-1967, 1969-1978 played in the FC Ararat Yerevan.
• 1967-1968 played in FC "Sevan".
• 1969-1972 played in the USSR Olympic team.
• 1972-1975 played for the USSR team.
• 1979-1981, 1986, 1991 the football manager of FC "Kotayk" of Abovyan.
• 1982-1983, 1986-1989, the football manager of FC "Ararat" of Yerevan.
• 1984-1985 the football manager of FC "Spartak" of Hoktemberyan.
• 1992-1993 the football manager of "Zvartnots" of Echmiadzin.
• 1993-1995 the coach of FC "Omenmen".
• 1997-2003 the chairman of FC "Ararat".
• In 2005 the coach of FC "Lernayin".
• 2007-2008 the coach of FC "Mika".
• From 2009 the vice-chairman of FC "Ararat".

• In 1970 master of sports of USSR.
• In 1971, 1975 Silver medal of USSR championship.
• In 1972 Master of Sport, International Class.
• In 1972 Olympic bronze medal winner.
• In 1973 Gold Medal of the USSR Championship.

• In 1983 RA Honored Coach.
• The first-degree Order for “Services to the Motherland”
