Biography

Was born on March 17, 1872 in Constantinople, Turkey.

Education

  • 1892-1996 studied at the Conservatory of Helsingfors in Finland.
  • In 1897 graduated from Munich State Music Academy.

Work activity

  • In 1908 led Odessa's opera theater.
  • In 1908 organized Armenian choirs in Baku.
  • In 1910 conductօr of the Bulgarian opera company of Sofia.
  • In 1912 the choir director and organist of the Opera House of Boston city.
  • 1917-1936 wrote "Ivanko", "Ralitsa" operas.
