Was born on December 18,1933 in [[Yerevan]] the capital of [[Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic]].
==Education==
*In 1955 she finished The faculty of Russian Language and Philology of YSU([[Yerevan State University]]),Chairs of Russian Language and Literature.
*She got part-time postgraduate course in YSU.
==Work activity==
*In 1955-1957 worked in YSU as an editor of publishing.
*In 1957-1963 was an employee of the department of Art and Literature in the Communist(Коммунист) newspaper editorial office.
*In 1963-1964 she worked on probation in [[Maxim Gorky Literature Institute]].
*In 1964-1963 was a tutor of literature in the Faculty of Russian and Foreign Languages of [[Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences]].
*In 1967 started to work in the [[Institute of Literature after M. Abegian]] of the [[Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic]] in the department of literary relations.
**In 1967-1983 was a Senior Researcher.
**In 1983 was a head of department.

*In 1965 became a Candidate of Philology.
*In 1969 became a member of [[Writers Union of Armenia.]].
*In 1978 became a Doctor of Philological Sciences.
*In 1984 was a professor.
*In 2003 Elena received an award named after L.Mkrtchyan from [[Writers Union of Armenia]] and Armenian-Russian University award (for the book «Հայաստանը ապրում է հզոր հոգում»).

*She translated from armenian into russian the works of Avetik Isahakyan,Sero Khanzadyan,Vardges Petrosyan,Perch Zeytuntsyan,Hayk Vardanyan,Rafael Aramyan.
