- In 1578 with Ukrainian Cossacks and peasants of Moldova captured Yassou and exiled the local turkish prince.

- He tried to unite the armed forces,but soon a large turkish army had invaded to Moldova.With 2000 squard,deprived of army supplies he defended Yassou about two months.On March 12, 1578 when he tried to break the siege arrested conspirarcy and killed.
