Biography
Was born in 1866 in Van, Western Armenia.
Education
Studied at
- the monastic school of Van
- Holy Apostles Monastery of Mush
- Getronagan Armenian high school where was preoccupied with revolutionary ideas
Military activity
- In 1888 arranged an armed group in Salmest (Iran).
- In 1889 passing the Turkish-Iranian border entered Vaspourakan.
Other
- Was sponsored by Khrimyan Hayrik (Mkrtich I of Van).
- Escaping from the persecutions by Turkish authorities, established himself in Caucas for a while, then returned to Western Armenia once again, travelled in cantons (Vaspourakan, Baghesh, Sasun, Alashkert), studied the condition of the nation, waged a fight with Turk policemen and perished.
