Was born on December 11, 1738 in Shorot village of Yernjak province, Syunik.

- The main work is "Arithmetic" (Թուաբանութիւն).
Achievements
- He was a member of the Mekhitarist Congregation of Venice.

- In contrast to the book "Արհեստ համարողութեան" (It's the first Armenian printed book about mathematics), "Arithmetic" (Թուաբանութիւն) has rich content, contains mathematical definitions and proofs. The layout of the material, the definitions and the proofs correspond to the requirements of the mathematics of the XVIII century of Western Europe.
