Was born on February 3, 1940 in Kolatak, Republic of Artsakh.

Education

Work activity

  • From 1961 to 1963, Assistant Professor of YSU Theoretical Mechanics Department.
  • From 1966 to 1969, senior lecturer at YSU Higher Mathematics Department.
  • From 1969 worked at the NAS(National Academy of Sciences)Institute of Mechanics.
  • From 1969 to 1987, senior research.
  • From 1987 to 2006, Director.
  • From 2006, Mechanics Department head of the "Mechanics of thin-walled systems" Institute, advisor of the Institute Director.
  • 1992-1996 - founder-president of "Artsakh-Armenia" public-political organization.
  • From from 1992 to 1996, founder-president of "Artsakh-Armenia" public-political organization.

Achievements

Other

  • Work relate to the construction of asymptotic theory of anisotropic beams, slabs and membranes, the solution of static and dynamic problems of smooth and spatial elasticity theory, methods of calculating and introducing new models of calculation, and seismic waves impacts on structures.
  • In 2007 participated in the elections of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia as a member of "Dashink" party, but the party did not overcome the transition threshold.
  • In 2012 he again participated in the elections as a member of Democratic Party of Armenia, which did not overcome the transition threshold too.
