Biography
Was born in 1832 in Beirut, Lebanon.
Work activity
- Was a translator in the British consulate in Beirut, the consul of The Netherlands to Egypt.
Other
- The brother of Abgarios Iskandar, father of Abgarios Alis.
- His offsprings Joseph, Michelle, Alis and Najib were educational-public figures, Emin and Nesib were doctors.
- Wrote moralistic stories and novels (in Arabic), compiled English-Arabic dictionary.
